A
group of Scouts have taken on a project to help restore the Juliette
Low gravesite in Laurel Grove Cemetery in Savannah, GA. As of
Jan 2010, you have helped them collect over $5,000 for the Restoration
of her gravesite.
This Girl Scout group has been in contact with Daisy's great-nephew,
and as luck would have it he has recently begun the process of
estimates and contractors to do the job. The estimate at this
time is approximately $15,000+ to repair the crumbling cement
work and move the existing iron fencing inward, away from the
trees that are causing damage with their roots.
This
Girl Scout Group has designed the above patch, which they are
making available for a donation of $5.00 each.
If you would like to contribute to this project, you can order
through
Patchwork Designs, Inc. via phone, mail or webstore
OR you can order directly through the Michigian scout troop.
100%
of the funds raised after expenses will go directly to this project.
